Nina Waisman – Body Envelope and Media Womb

I am particularly interested in how she uses sound and movement in these pieces. In Media Womb she uses sound and interaction to open dialogue about the negative media portrayal of Mexico by juxtaposing sounds taken from media reports and the real sounds of Mexico life. It is incased in a recycled cardboard womb that was created by artist Giacomo Castagnola.
